Nutrition & Soil Quality
The foundation of every plant is the soil in which it is rooted. Over time, soil nutrients and organic matter may become deplete and when combined with other environmental stressors, can make for unfavorable growing conditions. Regular testing of your soil as well as prescribed treatments of natural fertilizers, bio-stimulants, and soil enhancers, can greatly improve and prolong the life of your trees by replacing lost nutrients and improving soil bio-activity.
Compaction, grade changes, deicing salts, and overmulching are other soil conditions that can adversely affect a trees health. Use of an air spade may be recommended to improve soil structure or to relieve compaction.
Consult one of our certified arborists for an on-site evaluation to determine if any of these conditions apply to your trees.
